Stabilization of Neer IIB type distal clavicle fracture using the Tightrope system: Case report

Introduction: Fractures of the distal end clavicle account for 10% - 30% all fractures this bone, however, they as many 50% nonunions and malunions in fractures. Of fractures, highest percentage complications appertain to Neer type IIB The aim paper is describe case a female patient with fracture treated by reduction flexible stabilization coracoclavicular joint using TightRope system. Case report: A 48-year-old patient, injured traffic accident while driving car, suffered edge left clavicle. Three days after injury, underwent indirect surgery fixation, application Rehabilitation began on first postoperative day was completed three months surgery, achievement full range motion shoulder, return muscle tone strength shoulder muscles, followed everyday life work activities, before injury. Conclusion: Although no gold standard exists operative treatment above-described injuries, method fixation joint, different types sutures, achieves good excellent results. Comparing other described techniques indicates that it has better functional result, which achieved faster lower complication rate. Our patient's results contribute literature data yet again demonstrate effectiveness these complex injuries.
